Here to Stay

Original Acrylic Painting | Natural Oak Frame | Ready to Hang

Here to Stay explores a kind of love that feels steady, secure, and unconditional.

Featuring two dogs sitting peacefully together, the painting captures a quiet but meaningful connection. There is a sense of trust in their eyes and comfort in their presence, as though they have finally found a place where they belong. I wanted to express that moment when love no longer needs to be searched for because it's already there.

The concept behind this series began after I watched a documentary about dog breeding. Seeing how different breeds were developed inspired me to explore the idea of constructing dogs through color instead. Using vibrant fragments, layered brushstrokes, and expressive forms, I built each figure through paint, balancing abstraction with recognizable details.

Here to Stay is ultimately about companionship, belonging, and the simple comfort of feeling at home.
