Happy Together is part of a series inspired by a winter afternoon in Canada, when I came across a dog walker in a park. I watched several dogs running and playing in the snow, their colorful coats standing out against the white landscape.

What stayed with me was the energy of the scene: the way the dogs moved together, the sunlight reflecting on the snow, and the soft shadows that gave the moment a surprising sense of warmth.

I photographed the dogs that day and later used those images as references for my paintings. Rather than recreating every detail, I focused on their movement, the contrast of colors, and the feeling of joy that came from watching them play.

Happy Together reflects those simple moments of connection and happiness that we often encounter unexpectedly.
